After working in the print/publishing industry for over 20 years combined with 10 years of photography experience I decided it was time to start sharing my successful results with more and more people, and so Footprint Photo & Design was born.

My professional background added to my passion for photography creates a service which I thoroughly enjoy providing and look forward to building a successful business providing an individual service for each one of my customers.

My aim is to provide the complete service for my customers, be it designing stationery, greeting cards, invites, brochures, full colour marketing material and any incorporated photos, right through to family portraits and photo shoots requiring full studio lighting.

I've always had a strong interest in nature, wildlife and the landscape, as a result of which my studio is different every time I take my camera out of the bag. So I'm kind of spoilt living in Newtown, Powys because on one side of me I have the wonderful scenery of Mid-Wales with it's forests and reservoirs, while on the other side I have the rolling hills of Shropshire.

The thought that's always in my mind when taking photos is 'don't just look, but see the subject'. The result of which is that more often than not you'll notice something that can give the photo that little something and make it so much more special.
